Julie Schiffman obtained her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University Of Illinois in 1992.  Throughout the years Julie has helped thousands of children of all ages, adolescents and adults who struggle with a variety of symptoms and stressors due to imbalances within the body.

Julie has spent the past 7 years working at Dr. Mercola's Natural Health Center.  She has studied and dedicated herself to learning and practicing holistically to assist others on their healing journey.  Her strong sense of intuition and sympathetic approach helps to empower others while achieving their goals.

Although Julie is trained in various healing modalities including Neurostructural Integration Technique (NST), Neuroemotional Technique, Lifeline and Color Therapy, she mostly uses Meridian Tapping Technique (MTT),  to assist people suffering from disease, weight issues, allergies, anxiety, phobias, emotional stressors and dys-function in the body.  She does this by identifying each person as an individual and focusing on the mind, body and spirit to help them achieve their own level of wellness and freedom.  Her sessions are a combination of cognitive therapy and MTT (described below) to produce outstanding results.

What is Meridian Tapping Technique (MTT)?

MTT is a form of psychological acupressure based on the same meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments (without the use of needles).  A simple process of tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the body while thinking of a specific pain or problem.  The combination of tapping, focusing on the problem and adding positive affirmation work to clear the emotional blocks which create imbalances in the body.
